What are you curious about?

In class the past couple of days, you have been brainstorming about topics that pique your curiosity. Now, please share some of your ideas with the rest of the class via the blog. Write about one or two intriguing questions. Don't just ask or list the questions; explain your interest. You might also want to read the ideas posted on the 5th period blog at tsaleone0708.blogspot.com.

I have always wondered what it would be like to be an alaskan crab fisherman! Thet have a really hard life being out in a boat for 3 weeks and have to deal with throwing up and no sleep. After gettign 4 hours of sleep they have to go lug huge heavy crates full of crab around. They also have to deal with the freezing cold weather and ice on the boat. the waves are coming up over the boat smashing you down. Then after you are finally back and get your pay you smell like crab and fish for like 6 months and then you end up going right back to do it again. basically you have to be a huge man to do it and i hope to do it one day!

i am curious about why curious george is curious. this is a subject that has always intrigued me since the time that i was little. what does he have to be curious he is just a monkey and he does not exactly have to be curious. he comes to new york from the jungle and i know that he has a lot to be surprized but i think that his curosity is overrated. i have always thought that curious george is a chill monkey but i still do not know what he is so curious about.

I have always been curious about the human brain. Supposedly humans only use about ten percent of their brains. That means that there is still ninety percent of our brains that aren't being used. I've always wondered what the rest of the brain is used for. What we could accomplish if we used one hundred percent of our brains, it amazes me that scientists still don't know the extent of our brains capabilities. People have been studying the brains activities for years, but they still haven't found a reason for why the whole thing isn't used.

I’m very curious about college. What will it be like? I know some of the things, like it’s just more school and studying. Some people don’t like it and others do. Some say it was the best years of their life. Others say they didn't like it. I hope I like college.

I am curious about what it would be like be an ice road trucker. It seems like an interesting job because the ice is only like 22 inch thick ice when you are carrying around 800 lbs. of stuff. You can also fall through when carrying extremely dangerous loads. The weather is also an extreme condition.

I’m curious about the human mind. I want to know why minds are the way they are. Why do some people have a naturally smart advanced mind? Why do some have to work hard to make there mind more advanced or quick? Why is it that some people look at a tree and see a tree and some see something beautiful or extraordinary? I know that some traits of the mind are simply genetics. But if the mind works the same, why is every ones so different.

I have always wondered about what it whould be like to ski dive? How expensive is it and what does iit feel like to freefall over 10,000 feet in the air. Do you have to take lessons? How much is it to acttualy take to go skidiving. I think that it would be one of the coolest things to do in one life time. If I had the time and money to do it I would.

Is there a rush in life can there be any excitement falling from thousands of feet in the air. I wonder how it feels to know your life depends on what happens to that parachute I wonder what the chances are that you will not have a faulty parachute. I wonder how the “game” was started I wonder how many accidents have happened to the people doing this daring sport...

What I am curious about is Buddhism, because I have allways seen it as the only religion that doesn't allways look for a higher authority. I may be wronge because I have not had much experiance with this subject.

I am curious about how T.V s work, and how flatscreen tv s are made because they are so skinny and older tv s are so huge. I think they use something to do with satilites if you have a dish and cables in the ground if you have cable but how does that make a image on a tv or if you dont have either how does that work vith the antennas and why does moving them help.

I am curious about what it would be like to be a only child. I am a identical twin so I am always with her and we do everything together. I wonder if it would be super boring not having any brothers or sisters. Even though I fight with my sister sometimes I think I would be very bored. You wouldn’t have anyone to talk to on trips unless you brought a friend or you were really close with your parents.

I’m curious about many things. One of the things I’m curious about would be life. Everyone has there own life and can pick and choose how ever they want it. There are only certain things you must do to stay alive but other then that you can change it all you want and be who ever you want.

this is kind of weird for me to wonder about but i was curious about ghosts. i have always wanted to know why they were there, how they died or what they wanted. it is kinda creepy to think about but every halloween i always look up new things on ghosts. it gets me in the mood for some good scary stories, and halloween. i think it is one of my favorite holidays b/c of that one reason. i also want to know if we can help them or maybe they can hurt us. sometimes i woner if they give us clues to tell about the past or just anything they want. or maybe they just want us to leave so they can rest but what ever it is i want to know i also want to see a ghost in person b/c i also want to know what it si made of. i know weird right? well not to me!

Why do cats land on their feet most of the time? Are they psychic? What if you catch them off guard will they still land on their feet? Apparently toast always falls butter side up, so what if you tape a piece of toast butter side up on that cats back and throw it?

I’m wondering what is the meaning of life? The biggest question ever, no one will ever know because if some one found it out it could erase existents or just confuse every one. Also, if you know the meaning of life then there will be no reason to live other than to do the reason. And after that, then what? Was every thing else in your life pointless, and if so every one else is doing pointless things unless they know the reason. But, what if ever one else has a different reason, what if you can’t accomplish the reason, why do you even want to do the reason? All these questions and more, much more, all come from the one question that has no answer.

COACHING

I am curious about coaching Football because it makes me want to achieve something more in life. I would like to know how to become one and how long does it take to become a NFL coach. I became interested because of Troy Aikman. I know he was a Quarter Back but it made me want to be in some part of football. I would be playing but since of my Heart Problem I can’t so I like to help out with the team. At Arapahoe High School I am the manager for the team. All my friends support me like Max Learner, Xavier McDaniel, Ryan Werner, Chris Berry, Jake Gunn, Jake Allen, and much more. There all behind me, I help them they help me. Also Mike Campbell has let me be manager and help so that made me want to coach even more. So that is why I would like to be a coach for the NFL and maybe even for the Dallas Cowboys!

I am curious what it would be like to go scuba diving. Would the pressure of the water hurt or would you barely even notice. How different would it feel to be able to breathe underwater. How long could I stay down with a tank of air. Would it be worth the price and where should you go. Hopefully i could experience this.
