Well, in the story, Arthur Becomes King, it teaches a lot about medieval times. It shows how important the king is. When Arthur is 15, he traveled to London with his guardian and Sir Kay, so Sir Kay could compete in a tournament. Whoever won the tournament would become king. Sir Kay had forgotten his sword, and you wouldn’t be able to compete without a sword. Arthur was sent to get Sir Kay’s sword, but had to find a replacement, because the inn that they were staying at was locked. He finds a sword in an anvil in the church yard. He goes back and Sir Kay knows it isn’t his sword. Sir Kay and Arthur’s guardian, Sir Ector, follow Arthur back to the yard. After time and time again, Sir Ector and Sir Kay try to pull out the sword. Arthur pulls it out easily each time, but they can’t get it out. Finally, Sir Ector comes to the realization that Arthur is the future king. For someone who has been a guardian to Arthur, and in less than two minutes, becomes of lower stature than him, shows how important the King is, by the way Sir Ector acts. There are many more examples of medieval times in the rest of this story.
The story, Arthur Becomes King, is an old tale that is re-written during world war 2. It is an old drama that deals with a 15year old boy named art. Everybody calles him wart to make fun of him. The story is about courage and self confidence because at first Arthur struggles to pull out the sword but whoen the animals come off the flags and talk to him it gives him his strength. Now did he really need this strength? No. But he needed to rove to the sword e was the rightful king. But the funny part about itis only in the medieval times would you find a kid becomming king because e wanted to steel a sword. Also, King Arthur had a warloc like thing named merlin. I have heard of whitches and warlocks but only during the medieval period. And a secret that would be really bad to get out is that merlin is helping King Aurhtor win the wars.
In this medieval story a young boy named Arthur becomes king at age 15. He is asked by his lord to go get his sword. But when the boy sees a sword stuck in an anvil in stone he tries to pull it out. The first two times he tries he is not successful. He then gets the confidence to believe he can pull it out. He pulls it out and becomes king. What this can teach us about the medieval times are that anyone no matter their age could become a king. Also that its not always the stronger you are the better you are, its about if you believe you can do something. That is also what is the "secret" out this story.
Well other than the facts about the story, and how and when it was written. In the story we meat Arthur after he becomes king and is trying to gain control of all of England so that he can obtain order. In the story we read to day, Arthur was giving a speech about how once in power are abusing it for their own. This reminded me of the crooked cops in movies and how they are abusing their power for their own when they where meant to use it for justice. And that is cind'a what Arthur was talking about.
