A fictional secret is in the show 24 the CTU lets one of thir workers do a violent prosecution, without letting the president know first. The CTU had to do it in order to crack the case, yet it made te president feel less in charge therefore giving the CTU power becuase of the secret.
One fictional secret is in the movie, Sweeney Todd. Sweeney runs a barber shop and underneath is his friend's meat pie bakery. The meat pies had no business until Sweeney came into town and went mad with murder.
The secret was what was in the pies that made them so good. It was the poet who got too scruffy. It was the Priest who needed a shave. Or the Judge who stole Sweeney's wife and adopted his daughter.
Sweeney Todd, first seeking revenge on the Judge soon became addicted to murder. All of his victims were dumped into the basement and made into meat pies. This was a secret kept by Sweeney and his friend which gave them power, accelerating the meat pie business.
National Treasure Book of Secrets is a huge secret to Nick and his friends. Nick and his friends are trying to prove that their family from the past did not plan the shooting of Abraham Lincoln. But then a bad guy (can't remember the name)but he tries to fraud Nick. So then for Nick to find out the truth he had to get the book of secrets. The book is passed down from every president and had secrets in that no one else knows. So Nick goes after the book to find the truth about Abraham. They don't look at anything else but that. So Nick and his friends found out about and go and get this trasure. Well I can't tell you the rest of it so I don't spoil it. So Nick kepps the book of secrets to himself also his friends do the same thing also, but no one ever finds out about it. I think this book and be a peril to people like Nick. His family was acused of the murder of Abraham Lincoln. So if Nick never of went for it well then it would have been a mystery and the bad guy would have gotten away with it. But for the power part that bad guy had power on Nick's family because of that book. So yes the book of Secrets is peril and powerful in both ways but now only Nick and his friends no about it.
Harry potter and the deathly hallows has a secret which ron Harry and hermione all were searching for this secret was powerful and perilus because they had to go out of secrecy to find out what they were and how to get them. they were betrayed to the ministry and almost captured because of this. it was powerful because it pulled the group out of hidding.
I think that Watergate was a big secret, and when it was uncovered it was bad for everybody; Democrats and Republicans. It was powerful, because it gave Nixon the democratic candidate’s running plans, plus it gave peril because it caused lose of faith in the presidency by the average American. I think that Nixon faced more peril than power by holding this secret, because if the American people found out he knew that they would be outraged.
Lately, I’ve been reading a lot of books about vampires. Every vampire has a secret. This secret is their identity. By being a vampire, they are different, and most humans don’t like them. Honestly, I can see why, but I think, if they really did exist, I would love to meet one. The only thing that can tell if it is a vampire, are other vampires. So, people don’t know who among them are vampires. I think this secret is more peril than power, because if a vampire’s identity is revealed to the public, this could be dangerous for them. It is dangerous, for a vampire to reveal their identity, because most people would try to hunt it down and kill it.
I think one of the most best kept secrets in all of movie history is the secret in Star Wars were Darth Vader turns out to be Luck Skywalkers father. The only people who know the secret were Obi-One, Yoda, and Darth Vader. When Luck found this out he was at first upset and freaked out, but later he tried to find the good side in him. This presented peril because to find the good side in Darth Vader, Luke had to meet with him face to face. Once Luke was in trouble do to the Emperors horrible treatment to Luke. So when Vader saved Luke from death he died in the process. Do to the secret of Darth Vader a few lives were lost, but friendships were made.
On desperate housewives there are many secrets that aren't descovered yet but the mane one that hasn't come up yet is that Orson ran over Mike and put him into a coma. Orson is the only one that knows he did it and it doesn't give him power because he could get caught and then sent to jail. This is also bad because he killed his wife before he married Bri so it would be a down hill spiral.
A fictional secret is that in the movie National Treasure there are hidden treasures in different parts of the United States. The keeper of the secret faced peril because he was not the only one after the treasure. However he did wield power because he was smarter that the others after the treasure.
In the Spiderman movies, Peter Parker kept his identity a secret from the rest of the world to kept him and his family safe. Only a few people knew who he was and this made the movies more interesting because humans are curious.
One world secret is dealing with 9/11. There is so much conspiracy dealing with the terrorists attacks on the twin towers. Nobody knows if they meant to do it so that the date was the exact same as our emergency number or not. The only people who know the answer to this secret are the people that planned the attacks. Did they really plan it to be that way or was it just a coinsidence? I guess we'll never know
In the movie Click with Adam Sandler he is given a special remote. This remote has special buttons that can control the real world. This gives him powerful and he has to try and keep this remote thing a secret.
in the begining of the south park series mr garrison has a secret, he is gay. he thinks no one knows but everyone does. this secret does not give him power its more on the peril side, because if he comes out he might get fired, and the kids parents would not want him to teach their boys.
parents keep the secret that there is no such thing as Santa and if you are really good then you will get more and better presents. This is a secret of power because they can use that against you especally when we were younger and believed that if you were bad then you would get no presents

In the movie i now pronouce you chukc and larry there is a secret the whole time. they get married acting like they are gay and they are raelly not gay. one of them needs it for more money and child support and things like that for his two kids because his wife died. the government is watching them the whole time because it is illegal to do that to get money. they end up geting caought but it stayed a secret for a long time.
Secrets can destroy or make better friendships. A secret between two friends shows trust. But if that trust is broken it can destroy a once great friendship. Secrets are every where, every one has them, its only human. Secrets are good and bad, a good secret can save someones fealings or protect them from the truth which could realy do damage . But they can also be bad, they can come back and do some damage.
In the movie, "I Am Legend" there is a big secret that now one really knows about and the thought is that there is not anyone who is still alive after a huge crisis and people star turrning into creepy creatures but it creates the story to be very highly entertaining but it also kills the aduiance and it sows that there are actual other people out there and he is not alone. It was a pretty big secret!
